Popular South Indian actor Jyotika is all set to make a comeback to Mollywood after a gap of 12 years. She will be seen opposite to Mammootty in director Jio Baby's Kaathal.
"Here’s unveiling the title of Mammootty Kampany's Next project Directed by Jeo Baby Kaathal - The Core Wishing a very happy birthday to Jyotika," Mammootty announced on Facebook.
Jyotika's last Malayalam movie Seetha Kalyanam, which was released in 2019.
The movie, to be produced by Mammootty Company, will be the seventh movie of Jio Baby. The movie will be distributed by Wayfarer Films owned by Dulquer Salmaan.
According to media reports, shooting of Kaathal will begin October 20 in Kochi.
Apart from Jyotika and Mammootty, Kaathal will also star Lalu Alex, Muthumani, and Chinnu Chandni.
Mammootty was last seen in psychological thriller Rorschach, directed by Nisam Basheer which was also produced by Mammootty Kampany.
