Kangana Ranaut to play goddess Sita in ‘The Incarnation – Sita’

Kangana Ranaut has been roped in to play the role of Goddess Sita in an upcoming film based on the epic Ramayana. The film titled ‘The Incarnation - SITA’ is directed by Alaukik Desai and written by KV Vijayendra Prasad.

Kangana also unveiled a teaser poster on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, “Glad to be on board for the title role with this immensely talented team of artists. With the blessings of Sita Ram. Jai SiyaRam (sic)."

Kangana’s Thalaivii, biopic of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa, hit theatres recently.  Directed by Vijay and written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, Thalaivii also stars Arvind Swami, Madhoo, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Bhagyashree, and Poorna.

She will also be seen in action films Dhaakad, Tejas. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas will feature Kangana essaying the role of an Air Force pilot.
