‘Asuran’ actor Nitish Veera passes away due to COVID-19

Kollywood has lost a few eminent artists to COVID-19 recently

Tamil actor Nitish Veera who had acted in films like Pudhupettai, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Asuran, Kaala, and Raatchasi passed away due to COVID-19 complications on Monday.

Actor and producer, Vishnu Vishal shared a note for the late actor. In his note, he shared that he had shared screenspace with Nitish in Vennilakabbadikuzhu and Maaveran Kittu. He added that the second wave of COVID-19 was taking away so many lives.

Kollywood has lost a few eminent artists to COVID-19 recently. Director Thamira, cinematographer KV Anand and actor Pandu succumbed to the virus in the last few weeks. Singer and actor MJC Comagan, best known for his appearance in film Autograph, also passed away recently due to COVID-19 complications.

Fans and actors are taking to social media to share tributes for the actor.
