Telugu actor Jr NTR has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to social media to share the update and said that he and his family members are under quarantine.
He tweeted: “I’ve tested positive for Covid19. Plz don’t worry, I’m doing absolutely fine. My family & I have isolated ourselves & we’re following all protocols under the supervision of doctors. I request those who’ve come into contact with me over the last few days to pl get tested. Stay safe. (sic)”

Jr NTR is the latest Telugu celebrity to test positive for the virus. Earlier Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and others were also diagnosed with COVID-19. On Monday, Telugu anchor and actor Tummala Nageshwara Rao, popularly known as TNR, passed away due to COVID-19 complications.
On the work front, Jr NTR is working on director SS Rajamouli's RRR. The film also features Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani. The period drama is set to hit theatres on October 13. Set in the pre-independence era, RRR is a fictional story of two legendary freedom fighters—Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem.
