Ahead of Priyanka Chopra's memoir Unfinished which will be launched on Tuesday, the actress took to social media to share her thoughts. In one of the videos she shared on Twitter, she gave a sneak peek into the book by reading an excerpt. She said that this was an emotional moment for her. The book has been dedicated to her father.

“I am a product of traditional India and its ancient wisdom, and modern India and its bustle,” she reads. She adds that her upbringing was always an 'amalgamation of the two Indias and just as much of East and West'. Sharing an audio note on Instagram, Priyanka opened up about the initial phase of her professional life. “My career, a career based so much on my physical appearance, seemed to be over before it had even started. I felt as if a doorway to paradise had been opened and then slammed in my face, and it hurt,” she said.

Priyanka's memoir will trace her journey from growing up in India, to winning the Miss World pageant at the age of 17, and her acting career in Bollywood and Hollywood.

On the work front, Priyanka was last seen in Netflix original The White Tiger, an adpatation of Arvind Adiga's book by the same name. She has also wrapped up shooting for Text For You, and will also be seen in Matrix 4.
