Kangana Ranaut has claimed that her Twitter account was restricted after she made controversial remarks about Tandav creators.

On Wednesday, Kangana said that the liberal community reported her account to Twitter and got it restricted by 'chacha' Jack Dorsey, Twitter's CEO. "Librus cried to their chacha @jack and got my account temporarily restricted, they are threatening me mera account/virtual identity kabhi bhi desh keliye shaheed ho sakti hai (My account and my virtual identity might get martyred for the country anytime), magar my reloaded desh bhakt version will reappear through my movies. Tumhara jeena dushwar karke rahungi," she wrote in a tweet.

Kangana had stirred up a row with her now-deleted tweet on Amazon Prime’s Tandav. The show starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub among others, is at the centre of a controversy for allegedly hurting religious sentiments, and also showing the UP Police in bad light.

Kangana wrote on Monday, “Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Sheshupala.... pehle Shanti phir Kranti (Silence must be followed by revolution).... time to take their heads off... Jai Shri Krishan…” However, she deleted it shortly after.

The makers of  Tandav ,on Tuesday, agreed to implement changes to their controversial web series after several FIRs were filed. In a statement, the team said, "We have utmost respect for the sentiments of the people of our country. We did not intend to hurt or offend the sentiments of any individual, caste, community, race, religion or religious beliefs or insult or outrage any institution, political party or person, living or dead."

Facing outrage, the cast and crew had on Monday issued an unconditional apology if their fictional show had "unintentionally" hurt sentiments.
