Bollywood directors Anubhav Sinha and Hansal Mehta, among others, joined a Twitter trend to reveal their first job and the amount of money they made from it.
Anubhav Sinha, popular for movies like Thappad and Mulk, revealed that he received Rs 80 as his first salary at the age of 18. It was from giving tuition to a class VII student, he said, and added that he earned the money for buying cigarettes.
Shahid director Hansal Mehta, joined in, tweeting that he earned Rs 450 at the age of 16 by working as a salesperson at "Intershoppe Kemp's Corner" to earn money for his junior college wardrobe.

Umesh K. Shukla, popular for the 2018 comedy-drama film 102 Not Out, wrote that he earned Rs 35 per show, "doing back stage under the director Mahendra Joshi." He revealed that he also worked as a salesman, earning Rs 400.
