Twitter users on Wednesday targeted actress Kangana Ranaut, telling her to return her Padma Shri award. This comes in the wake of AIIMS’ forensic panel ruling out murder in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
In July, Kangana who had alleged foul play in the actor’s death, had said she would return her Padma Shri if her claims were proven wrong. “…I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can't testify, which I can't prove, and which is not in public domain, I will return my Padma Shri," Kangana had told Republic TV.
Kangana promised to return award if SSR murder not proved. Though she is very likely to make a U-turn, if she indeed returns award she will be the new 'Award Wapsi Gang' 😂😂#KanganaAwardWapasKar

In a video shared after Sushant Singh’s death in June, Kangana had called out Bollywood and its 'privilege' club. In the video, she questioned if his death was indeed suicide or 'planned murder' by an industry that does not acknowledge outsiders.
The AIIMS panel that looked into Sushant’s death has said in its final report that he was not murdered and it is a case of suicide. In its conclusive medico-legal opinion to the CBI, the six-member team of forensic doctors has dismissed the claims of "poisoning and strangling" made in the case of Singh's death.
"It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. We have submitted our conclusive report to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)," Dr Gupta, who is also the chairman of the forensic medical board, said.
Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
