Actress Deepika Padukone, who arrived at the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai on Saturday morning, is being questioned in the drugs case. The NCB grilled Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash and actress Rakul Preet Singh in connection with the case on Friday.

Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have also reached the NCB office to record their statements

The NCB had asked Karishma Prakash to appear before it again on Saturday, when it would also be recording Deepika's statement, an official said. Prakash was questioned for about
seven hours. Dharma Productions' executive producer Kshitij Ravi was also questioned on Friday.

The NCB, which began the inquiry after a drugs angle came to light in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged suicide, has now widened its investigation and asked a clutch of Bollywood celebrities to "join the probe". NCB sources said some WhatsApp conversations purportedly discussing drugs are on the radar of the agency. Some of these chats were purportedly between Deepika's manager Karishma and one "D", they said.

Sushant was found dead in his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14.
