Kangana Ranaut, who has been criticising ‘Bollywood mafia’ for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has now asked the Mumbai Police to look into those propagating the perception that Sushant’s career was a ‘flop’.

Sharing box office numbers of Sushant’s film Chhichore, Kangana said that the film had crossed box office numbers of Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy, and yet Sushant was being called a ‘flop actor’.

"This is the digits business, but in perception business they kept calling Sushant a flop actor, dumped his films on digital owning to his "flop" career, which flop career? and who were declaring his flop @mumbaipolice must investigate (sic)," tweeted Team Kangana Ranaut.

Sharing a post from Sushant’s profile, Kangana said that they will ensure his name ‘shines like a star’. “We will make sure your name shines like a star in the sky forever, millions of candles of your name were burning last night, we won’t let them dismiss you as mad or a weak life, you will continue to spread your lovely light, we promise you,” the tweet read.

Hitting out at the 'movie mafia' in Bollywood, in a recent interview with Republic TV, Kangana had accused Yash Raj Films of sabotaging Sushant's career by denying him films. She called out Aditya Chopra of systematically denying Sushant work.

Sushant's suicide has triggered a debate on social media and otherwise on rampant nepotism and 'lobbying' in Bollywood. Mumbai Police is currently probing his death. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has ruled out CBI probe into the case.
