Bollywood actor Maanvi Gagroo took on a fashion label for using her photo on a promotional post that suggested fat-shaming.

Taking to social media, the Four More Shots Please! actor posted an image of the brand—House of Fett—which advertised one of their products with the actor's photo and the caption 'styles to hide your curves'.

Pointing out that she did not wear the dress shown in the promotional post to 'hide her curves', the actor slammed the brand for using her image and said they do not have her permission to fat shame anyone.

"I didn't wear this dress to 'hide my curves'. Not only does the brand NOT have my permission to use my picture as a sponsored post, they definitely don't have my permission to fat shame ANYONE! I stand against everything this distasteful tagline points to," the actor tweeted.

The brand is yet to come out with an apology for using the actor's picture without taking permission from her.

Gagroo was last seen in Amazon Prime's Four More Shots Please!, the home-grown version of Sex and the City.

The actor is quite vocal about her opinions. Recently, the actor had written an open letter in the wake of Bois Locker Room scandal in which she said "misogyny begins at home. It seeps through our words. It reinstates through our actions & it is enabled through our gender-based morality. No, we cannot absolve ourselves of responsibility by blaming it all on bad parenting because this is not the first or the only time a ‘boys locker room’ has existed. And it sure as hell won’t be the last."
