Two more members of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor’s Mumbai residence have tested positive for COVID-19. This is in addition to the 23-year-old staff member who tested positive earlier this week.

Kapoor confirmed that he and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi are asymptomatic and fine, Hindustan Times reported.

After the first staff member tested positive, Janhvi took to Instagram to share an official statement, on behalf of her father. "I would like to inform you that our house help, Charan Sahu aged 23 years, has tested positive for COVID-19. He was unwell on Saturday evening and was sent for tests and kept in isolation. After receiving test report, our housing society authorities were informed and then accordingly the BMC, who immediately started the process of getting him into a quarantine centre,” the statement read.

Boney Kapoor further stated that himself, his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and their other staff members are well and aren't showing any symptoms of the disease. "My children, our other staff at home and I are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. All of us will be in self-quarantine for the next 14 days. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team."

He said he is sharing this so that there is no rumours and panic. "I am sharing this information because it is important not feed rumours and panic. We will take all precautions as required. We are sure that Charan will recover and be back at home us soon."

The actress posted the message with the caption: "Staying at home is still the best solution we have. Stay safe everyone."
