Deepika turns master chef for Ranveer, tries her hand at Thai cuisine

Not just that, she went on to bake a cake also

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are enjoying their time at home in lockdown, and have been posting about it regularly on social media.

On Friday, Ranveer took to Instagram stories to share videos and photos of his wife are cooking skills. She cooked up Thai cuisine for dinner, including Thai salad, Thai green curry, rice and vegetable Tom Yum soup. Not just that, she went on to bake a cake also.

 Earlier, Ranveer had posted a photograph of Deepika indulging in a jar of Nutella, which had the label ‘Khilji on it.

“In the dead of the night, she devoured Khilji ! Revenge is sweet indeed !,” he captioned the post.

Ranveer essayed the character Alauddin Khilji in the blockbuster film Padmaavat, in which Deepika essayed the role of Rani Padmini. In the film, Khilji kills her husband Maharaja Ratan Singh to win her, but she commits jauhar by walking into a fire.

The couple have been regularly posting sneak peeks into their lives in isolation during the lockdown. Recently, Deepika revealed Ranveer is the easiest person to live with during the lockdown, because he sleeps for 20 hours a day!

She also shared updates on how she is putting the quarantine period to use – by clearing up her wardrobe and organising stuff at home. In yet another quirky post, she shared a picture of Ranveer asleep, with a label ‘husband’. She wrote, "Season 1:Episode 7: & while I was at it.. @ranveersingh #wannabemariekondo #thinkitookittoofar. Productivity in the time of COVID-19! (sic)."

On the workfront, Deepika was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak in which she played an acid attack survivor. She will be seen with Ranveer in the upcoming film ’83. Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 traces the journey of Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev under whose captaincy India lifted the World Cup in 1983. Deepika Padukone plays Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev.
