Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are on the top of their social media game during the lockdown. In the most recent post, Ranveer posted a photograph of Deepika indulging in a jar of Nutella, which had the label ‘Khilji on it.

“In the dead of the night, she devoured Khilji ! Revenge is sweet indeed !,” he captioned the post.

Ranveer essayed the character Alauddin Khilji in the blockbuster film Padmaavat, in which Deepika essayed the role of Rani Padmini. In the film, Khilji kills her husband Maharaja Ratan Singh to win her, but she commits jauhar by walking into a fire.

The couple have been regularly posting sneak peeks into their lives in isolation during the lockdown. Recently, Deepika revealed Ranveer is the easiest person to live with during the lockdown, because he sleeps for 20 hours a day!

She also shared updates on how she is putting the quarantine period to use – by clearing up her wardrobe and organising stuff at home. In yet another quirky post, she shared a picture of Ranveer asleep, with a label ‘husband’. She wrote, "Season 1:Episode 7: & while I was at it.. @ranveersingh #wannabemariekondo #thinkitookittoofar. Productivity in the time of COVID-19! (sic)."

On the workfront, Deepika was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak in which she played an acid attack survivor. She will be seen with Ranveer in the upcoming film ’83. Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 traces the journey of Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev under whose captaincy India lifted the World Cup in 1983. Deepika Padukone plays Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev. Deepika had said, for her, '83 is an ode to every woman who prioritises her husband's dreams over hers. "To be able to play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour.

"I've seen very closely the role a wife plays in the success of her husband's professional and personal aspirations in my mother and ''83' for me in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband's dream before her own," she had said.
