Actor Ranveer Singh, on Monday, shared a new photograph from his upcoming film '83. The actor plays former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev in the film, and he literally hits it out of the park with this pose in the new still. He nails Kapil's iconic Natraj shot, and positive comments have begun to flow in.

When Ranveer Singh unveiled the first look of himself as Kapil Dev in July this year, his uncanny similarity to the cricketing champ had taken social media by storm. Makeup artistes have done full justice to the look by recreating Kapil Dev's hairstyle and moustache.
Ranveer Singh has been taking training sessions and interacting with Kapil Dev to emulate his body language and learn the intricacies of his persona in the biopic. "I'm keen on getting tips on my bowling and batting from the man himself. His achievements are extraordinary. He is the quintessential underdog who became a champion through perseverance, self-belief, hard-work and a positive mindset," Ranveer had said earlier.
Besides Ranveer Singh, the film also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Pankaj Tripathi, R. Badree, Chirag Patil, Ammy Virk among others. Deepika Padukone will essay the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi.
The film releases on April 10 next year.
