Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker's Twitter bio throws a few words at you—Twitter warrior, troll destroyer, right-wing baiter. More often than not, she remains true to these descriptions. The actress is known to be very vocal about her stance on various issues, social or political. And she battles online hatred in a style of her own.

On Thursday, the witty actress dropped a tweet in which she said she was considering voting for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru this time and asked which constituency he would be representing.

This was enough to set off a barrage of tweets on her timeline, mostly trolling her or passing hateful comments. Many of them, with the 'chowkidar' prefix before their names, hit back at the actress, telling her he would contest from Pakistan. Meanwhile, there was support pouring in for Nehru, too, with users crediting him for his achievements. Others commented he would be contesting from Wayanad, an obvious dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi who filed his nomination from Wayanad in Kerala on Thursday.
