Soundarya Rajinikanth, younger daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, is all set to marry actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi. The wedding has been scheduled for February 11.
Confirming the news, Soundarya Rajinikanth, in an Instagram post said in hashtags, "One week to go. Bride mode. Ved Vishagan Soundarya". According to media reports, pre-wedding festivities will start from February 9.
This is Soundarya Rajinikanth' second marriage. She was earlier married to businessman R. Ashwin. The two parted ways in 2017 after seven years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. They have a son.
Vanangamudi too has been married earlier. His first wife was Kanikha Kumaran.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth, sister of Soundarya, is reportedly in-charge of the marriage celebrations. Before the wedding festivities, there will be a pooja at the Poes Garden residence of Rajinikanth.
Although Soundarya Rajinikanth has been part of Tamil movie industry from 1999, she directed her first film, Kochadaiiyaan starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead, only in 2014. Her second movie as director was Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, with her brother-in-law Dhanush in the lead.
