Hitmaker Puri Jagannadh is set to direct Ram Pothineni in an action film, announced the actor recently.
Ram Pothineni was last seen in Hello Guru Prema Kosame, a romantic comedy. According to media reports, the untitled film directed by Jagannadh will be a high-octane action thriller.
The shooting of the film will begin in January. In an Instagram post, the actor expressed his happiness over working with Jagannadh. "When you’re bored playing the good guy...you meet this Bad Boy!! Pothineni reportedly said he always wanted to part of Jagannadh's films as the director has a talent to showcase his heroes with "no-nonsense attitude".
Jagannadh is one of the most sought after directors of Telugu cinema with many blockbusters, including Pokiri, Wanted and Businessman to his credit.
