Actress Deepika Padukone took to Twitter to announce the news of her wedding with fellow actor Ranveer Singh. The event is set to take place on November 14 and 15. “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November 2018,” the wedding card read.

In January this year, on Deepika Padukone's birthday, there were rumours of her engagement to Ranveer Singh in Sri Lanka. The rumours later resurfaced, with reports of Deepika's parents meeting Ranveer's family in Mumbai.
According to some reports doing the rounds, the couple prefer a destination wedding like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Reports have also suggested the wedding might take place in Mumbai according to South Indian rituals.
A report in Filmfare had earlier confirmed that Ranveer and Deepika were set for a November 20 wedding in Italy. Filmfare magazine quoted a source as saying, "It's a very special day for both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone which is why they just want the close ones to be present for their wedding ceremony. Mostly, it will be their families and a few close friends."
"The guest list consists of merely 30 people and that's exactly how these two want it. Italy is a favourite destination of both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone so they want to keep their big day more of a private affair.
