Phantom Films, one of Bollywood's leading production houses, has dissolved after seven years of successful partnership. Founded in 2011, it was a collaboration by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl, and producer Madhu Mantena.

Taking to Twitter to announce the decision, Anurag Kashyap wrote: “Phantom was a dream, a glorious one and all dreams come to an end.” Though the four have decided to go separate ways, they said that it was a healthy end.

Vikramaditya Motwane tweeted that it has been the most wonderful partnership of his life.

Despite the move, the four will continue to work with partner Reliance Entertainment exclusively. Phantom Films has produced Bollywood hits like Masaan, Queen, Lootera, NH10, Trapped and Udta Punjab. The production house's last venture—Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30—is expected to hit screens on January 25 next year.
