It was revealed on Monday that Sanjana Sanghi of Rockstar fame will pair opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the Bollywood remake of The Fault In Our Stars.
It was revealed in October last year that Sushant will essay the main lead which was essayed by Ansel Elgort in 2014's original, based on John Green's best-selling novel.
The film is going to be the Hindi remake of Hollywood's The Fault In Our Stars based on the relationship of two terminally ill patients. The directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra, a renowned casting director, is still unnamed and is expected to release later this year.
Fans of the original film, however, don't seem to be excited about this remake. Many took to Twitter, urging Bollywood not to ruin a beautiful film.

They are gonna ruin the whole thing I know it. #TheFaultInOurStars don't need a bollywood remake ffs. I'd rather watch the original one a few more times rather than Chabra's pathetic attempt. I'm excited about the music tho because it's A R Rehman.

#TheFaultInOurStars another Hollywood remake, why original content is rare in Bollywood these days?
