OPEN LETTER

Time for counter-attack

jaitley-press

Sir,

The beheading of the two Indian soldiers in Poonch district allegedly by Pakistan is a heinous crime. It is barbaric and intolerable! The Indian Army must act according to their plan of action. The surveillance at the border needs to be upgraded substantially and more armed forces need to be deployed there. No lapse of concentration should be shown at any cost.

If our bravehearts are attacked and killed with such inhumanity, the Indian government is left with no other option but to go for a counter-attack and boost the morale of the Indian Army.

We believe in the Indian Army. It has ethics and is humane even towards the enemy soldiers. The Indian Army must show them that they are not cowards! Though we don't support any barbarism off the war field, Pakistan must realise our soldiers are real gentlemen on and off duty.

The Indian government needs to reorganise, rectify, rearrange and sensitise the armed forces for their utmost safety and security matters. No more dead bodies of the men in uniform, please. We must keep our backbone straight and let no cross-border force shake our national security and inner strength.
