A woman waitress was allegedly attacked by two men for serving alcohol during Ramadan. The incident took place in Nice, France.

According to media reports, the attack took place on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. The woman, who is a Muslim, was alone in the bar when two men walked in.

Pointing to the bottles lined up behind her, one of the men said in Arabic, “If I were God, I would have you hanged."

The woman was in no mood to back down. She told the men, "You are not God to judge me.” Upset over this, they hurled abuses at her, calling her a 'whore' and 'bitch'. They then left the bar.

However, after a while, one of the men came back and attacked her. She fell onto the ground.

The woman said she was so scared and could not understand why the men abused and slapped her. Noting that she never faced any such problem in Tunisia where she was working as a waitress before, she said she never thought she would face such an attack in France.

The attackers have been identified as the entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV cameras. They are yet to be arrested.
