Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma became the latest Indian cricketer to get married this year after he was bowled over by his long-time girl friend Ritika Sajdeh in Mumbai on Sunday.
The ceremony, which was preceded by a glitzy party hosted by Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani, was held at a five star hotel in Bandra and was attended by cricketers, Bollywood stars and politicians.
Ambani and wife Nita Ambani were present at the function.
Others who attended the ceremony included Sachin Tendulkar with his wife Anjali Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh along with his wife Geeta Basra, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Umesh Yadav, Chetshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and other teammates .
Rohit had invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the wedding.
Both Rohit and Ritika got engaged earlier this year at a private ceremony attended by their close friends and relatives.
Harbhajan Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina got married earlier this year.
