Former Indian Test cricketer Yajurvindra Singh might have played just four Test between 1977 and 1979 in his international career, but has two world records to his name. Interestingly, he got both in his debut Test against England at Bengaluru.
In the first innings, Singh took five catches to equal the record of maximum catches in a single innings, held by Australian Vic Richardson against South Africa in 1935-36. He took two more in the second innings to equal the record held by Greg Chappell—Richardson's grandson —who took seven catches against England in 1974-75.
