Indian skipper Virat Kohli is expected to make a speedy recovery and there are no serious concerns regarding his health status, BCCI said on Thursday. "He (Virat Kohli) will continue to receive treatment, which will assist him to participate in the rest of the match. Relevant investigations have revealed that there are no serious concerns which will hamper his speedy recovery from the strain," said BCCI, according to ANI.
Kohli had to walk off the field clutching his right shoulder while diving to stop a run near the long-on boundary in the 40th over of the Test match at Ranchi stadium on Thursday. Ajinkya Rahane captained the side in Kohli's absence for the rest of the day. He received treatment with an ice pack and was even spotted getting ready to return back to the field after tea, but was later held back.
