Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal and Romanian Simona Halep maintained the top spots in the men's Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings respectively that were released on Monday.
Nadal, 16-time Grand Slam champion, maintained the top spot, ahead of Switzerland's Roger Federer, reports Efe. Britain's Andy Murray came in third, followed by fourth-placed Marin Cilic of Croatia.
The 26-year-old Halep was followed by Spaniard Garbiñe Muguruza. Czech Karolina Pliskova came in third, ahead of fourth-placed Ukrainian Elina Svitolina. Kristina Mladenovic of France jumped three positions to occupy the 10th spot, while Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova dropped out of the Top 10 list.
