India score 281/7 against Australia in first ODI

Opting to bat, India made a competitive 281 for seven against Australia in the first One Day International of the five-match series on Sunday.

Hardik Pandya scored the most runs for India with a 66-ball 83, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni made a blistering 79 off 88 balls.

Nathan Coulter-Nile picked up three wickets giving away 44 runs for Australia.
