India beat Pakistan by nine wickets to lift the T20 World Cup for the blind on Sunday. Riding on an unbeaten 99 by opener Prakash Jayaramaiah, India chased down a score of 198 with a loss of just one wicket and 14 balls to spare.
Pakistan had earlier posted 197 runs with a loss of eight wickets, powered by Badar Munir's 57 run hit.
Prakash's unbeaten 115 off 52 balls (23 fours) and his unbroken opening partnership of 175 runs with Ajay Kumar Reddy (51 not out) had helped India beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the semi-final of the T20 Cricket World Cup for the Blind on Friday.
