Chasing a target of 308 in 40 overs, India beat Pakistan by two wickets to win the Blind Cricket World Cup at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE on Saturday.

On the backs of extraordinary performances by Sunil Kumar and skipper Ajay Tiwari, who scored 93 and 62 respectively, India got the winning run in the penultimate over, overcoming the drawbacks of losing two wickets in quick succession mid-game.

For Pakistan, Badar Munir and Riasat Khan scored 57 and 48 runs.

India had defeated Nepal by eight wickets to storm into the semifinal of the fifth Blind Cricket World Cup at the Eden Garden Cricket Ground in Ajman
