Sunrisers Hyderabad stormed into the finals of the Indian Premier League (IPL) beating Gujarat Lions by 4 wickets at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Friday.

Chasing a competitive total of 163, Sunrisers struggled against a disciplined bowling attack, losing wickets at regular intervals, but skipper David Warner (93 off 58) almost single-handedly led his team to victory.

The last minute fireworks from Bipul Sharma (27 off 11) cleared the path for Sunrisers.

Batting first, Aaron Finch's 32-ball 50 lifted Gujarat Lions to 162 for seven. Finch added 51 runs in just 4.5 overs with Ravindra Jadeja (19 not out) when Lions were gasping at 83 for five in 12.5 overs on a decent batting track.

Finch, who enjoyed one life, hit seven fours and two sixes. Brendon McCullum contributed a 29-ball 32 while Dwayne Bravo played a useful 20-run cameo towards the end.
