Nokia comes back with android smartphones

Nokia, the iconic brand that heralded mobile phone revolution in India is back, this time with a new owner- HMD global. The company today launched a new generation of android enabled smartphones named- Nokia 3, 5 and 6. Nokia 3 goes on sale on June 16 and will be available across top mobile retailers in India. Consumers can pre-book their Nokia 5 starting July 7 and Nokia 6 will be available exclusive on Amazon.in. The registrations will begin July 14.  

The Nokia 6 will deliver a truly premium smartphone experience with a 5.5'' full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform and Qualcomm Adreno 505 graphics processor. It i is available in four distinct colours—Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper at a price of Rs 14,999. In addition, Vodafone consumers will get 10GB data per month at Rs 249 per month for 5 months on their Nokia 6.

Nokia 5 delivers excellent battery life, improved graphics performance—all in a package that perfectly balances everyday usability with a premium quality design. Its additional features include an 8MP, 84-degree wide-angle front facing camera—to squeeze even more scene into your selfie—and excellent sunlight and low light screen visibility. Nokia 5 is available at a price of Rs 12,899.

All Nokia phones have latest android Nougat and with Nougat comes the latest features including Doze, which saves battery life while the phone is in a pocket or bag. The new Nokia smartphones also feature Google’s most recent innovation, the Google Assistant, building further on a great Android experience.

HMD Global has appointed over 400 distributors in India to support its range of smartphones and feature phones. Through this network, Nokia smartphones and featurephones will be available at more than 80,000 retail outlets across the country.
