An Indian handset maker is all set to rock the smartphone market with the launch of what company claims to be the world's cheapest phone on Wednesday.
Freedom 251, launched by Ringing Bells, will be available for pre-booking on company's official website from 6 am on February 18. The booking will be closed at 8 pm on February 21. Freedom 251, priced at Rs 251, is a dual-SIM 3G capable phone.
The Noida-based company, started in 2015, said the launch was in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”
