 WhatsApp is testing new features for its over one billion users that include tap to unblock and private replies in groups, among others. Private Replies feature will let users reply privately to a person within a group. WhatsApp is also working on an option that will allow users to make a group call.

Surgical strikes: Modi asks why did Manmohan not show courage

US, S Korea, Japan begin joint military exercise

The US, South Korea and Japan have kicked off a two-day exercise—the sixth since June last year—in waters near the Korean peninsula and Japan. Two US ships, one each from the two Asian countries are taking part in the missile-tracking drill. The trilateral drill comes less than two weeks after Pyongyang test-fired a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) and declared it had achieved nuclear statehood, escalating global alarm over its weapons push.

Zaira Wasim’s alleged harasser arrested

Police have arrested an airline passenger in a sexual assault case after Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim said the male passenger had molested her during a late New Delhi-Mumbai flight. 17-year-old Zaira was seen sobbing in a video she posted to her Instagram site after getting off a Vistara flight during which, she has alleged, the passenger sitting on the seat behind her attacked her.
