Three women medical college students in Tamil Nadu allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the well due to lack of basic amenities and harassment by the college management, said reports.
The victims were undergraduate students of SVS Medical College of Yoga and Naturopathy and Research Institute in Villupuram, about 200 km from Chennai. A suicide note has been reportedly recovered from the suicide spot and it has blamed college management for their decision to take extreme step.
The police have filed a case and an investigation is on. Meanwhile, police have arrested son of college chairman Shokkar Verma, said reports.
