Terrorist groups are planning to carry out a drone attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Independence Day celebrations in Delhi, according to intelligence agencies.

Modi will address the nation from the Red Fort on August 15.

Reports said the intelligence agencies divulged the details of the threat during a high-level meeting of the prime minister's security wing.

Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), the two terror groups which enjoy the backing of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, are also planning to attack Army camps and other military establishments, as per the inputs.

The tip off came from the intercepted telephonic conversation between the terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
