RSS is seeking to highlight the political murders in Kannur distict of Kerala — which they allege are being carried out by CPM. RSS has decided to launch massive demonstration and protests all around Bengal against CPM atrocities in Kerala. The Sangh also said it would publicise the issue across India after that.

On Saturday, March 4, RSS will take out a rally at College street in Kolkata.

“It was earlier decided on March 1. But the protest rally against Kannur atrocities by CPM was taken out on March 4. We appeal to everyone to join the movement,” said Bidyut Chatterjee, RSS in-charge of Bengal.

RSS is also distributing a pamphlet written by 'Marxist Akramaviruddha Janakeeya Samithy' (Against CPM Murder Politics) to its Sangh members for circulation to the public in various corner of Bengal.

The document, written in English, surprisingly mentions BJP as a victim along with CPI, RSP, Congress and Muslim league in Kerala, while CPM has been mentioned as the killers.

The document mentioned Kannur as the killing field of Kerala.

“Soil in Kannur is not saturated by blood alone; it is an ocean of tears shed by mothers, widows and children,” it said.

“The story of Kannur is much beyond what people hear and read. The Communist party operates as the law enforcement and court. This place is paralysed by terror. CPM decides whether one lives or dies,” it said further.

What surprised many was RSS raising the issue of the attack on a Muslim League activist by CPM.

“Unless we gain credibility among minorities in Kerala and Bengal, we will not be able to make a mark in the politics in this state. Probably, this was the reason,” said a BJP leader in West Bengal.

It criticised the statement of CPM state secretary K.Balakrishnan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

According to the reports, 50 Congressmen have been murdered by CPM in Kannur alone.

“CPI’s only martyr, P.Damodaran, was also prey of CPM’s bloodlust,” said the report.

The report alleged that Kannur is the place where “CPM goons” demolished the houses of Sangh Parivar men.

RSS has given a clarion call for people to rise against the violence and beat CPM in Kannur and then grab political power in Kerala.

"But the struggle must start from Kerala," said an RSS leader in Kolkata.
