Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has decided to seek legal opinion on if Navjot Singh Sidhu can continue to be on TV as the judge one the popular comedy shows.

Sidhu, who has been appointed minister for culture and local bodies, said he plans to continue with the show.

Amarinder, however, said he is okay with Sidhu continuing with his TV show on condition that he changes his ministry as there could be a conflict of interest.

The cricketer-turned-politician meanwhile, has taken up the matter with the advocate general of Punjab. Although the advocate general is yet to share his take on the issue, Sidhu said there is nothing wrong if he continued with the TV show.

He did not forget to throw in a few Sidhuisms as he asked if he should run a bus service like Sukhbir did. Former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal had run a bus service that had swallowed all private and government public transport and made a huge amount of money.
