A day after he met BJP MPs from the Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met MPs from Gujarat, Goa, Rajasthan, Daman Diu, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Andaman and Nicobar regions. His message to the elected representatives was to serve their constituencies well and take the work done by the government to the people.

In the informal breakfast meeting at Prime Minister's residence, MPs first gave details of development work in their respective area. Modi then asked the MPs not only propagate policies of his government related to youth, poor, backward among people, but also to popularise active use of digital medium for financial transactions. He also asked them to use social media.

Also present on the occasion were BJP Amit Shah, senior MPs LK Advani and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar.

Shah said all MPs would carry out regional mass communication campaign from April 6 to April 14 for popularising government work.

Shah also briefed the MPs about setting up of NSEBC (National Commission for Social and Educational Backward Classes).

Discussions were also held on observing B.R.Ambedkar anniversary and BJP foundation day next month on a grand scale.
