Pakistan army provokes again, fires at Indian posts

Pakistan army violated the border ceasefire agreement and resorted to indiscriminate firing at Indian positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The violations have been reported from Sabzian area of Poonch district and Kupwara district in north Kashmir since Wednesday evening. However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone.

Indian troops retaliated and the exchanges of fire are still going on.

This is the second ceasefire violations by Pakistan army after the terror attack on Uri army camp on September 18. Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire in Poonch on September 20, targeting Indian army positions with small firearms.

 Earlier, Pakistan army violated ceasefire along LoC in Poonch district on September 6 and in Akhnoor sector in Jammu district on September 2.
