Baahubali fame and Tollywood star Prabhas' elder brother was sentenced to one year imprisonment on Tuesday after he was convicted in a cheque bounce case.
The Rajendranagar magistrate court also ordered U.V.S.S. Prabodh to pay Rs 80 lakh within two months from the date of judgment in a case filed by a Secunderabad-based businessman.
Prabhod was booked after a cheque of Rs 43 lakhs, that he had issued to the business man, was bounced due to lack of funds.
