NCP MP and Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule is one of the most social media savvy politicians in Maharashtra. And she has been using her social media skills for good causes which concern commoners.

The Baramati MP recently posted a selfie with potholes on the roads in Pune district. Sule was travelling on Katraj-Undri bypass and Bopdev ghat section on the outskirts of Pune. She promptly made it a point to click pictures of the pothole-ridden road and also clicked a selfie which was then posted on her Twitter handle.

Maharashtra PWD minister Chandrakant Patil has announced that not a single pothole will be seen on roads in Maharashtra from December 15 onwards. He has assured that all roads would be cleared of potholes by that day. Last year he had announced a reward of Rs 1,000 for anyone who spots potholes on Maharashtra highways.

Recently when state road transport corporation employees went on strike during Diwali, Sule had made it a point to pick and drop stranded bus passengers in her vehicle.

With her selfie, Sule has now started the #SelfieWithPotholes campaign on social media urging people to post pictures of potholes in their villages, towns and districts. One shouldn't be surprised if PWD minister Chandrakant Patil will soon be flooded with selfies with potholes form all across Maharashtra.

Responding to Sule's call, people have started posting selfies.
