A self-styled journalist who blackmailed petty vendors after threatening to expose their alleged wrongdoings is on the run after he was accused of assaulting a woman.
A complaint has been filed against Vijay Bhati after a woman alleged that he had harassed and sexually assaulted her.
"Attempts are being made to arrest him," Superintendent of Police Akash Tomar said.
Police said Bhati had fixed a dish antenna on his scooter and pretended to be a television journalist.
