Three militants were killed by the Army on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bandipora district.
"Three terrorists have been killed by the Army on the LoC in Gurez sector where an infiltration bid by the terrorists was foiled today," defence ministry spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia said.
The troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC and challenged the intruders which led to a firefight.
"The operation against terrorists is still on," Kalia added.
