Baba Ramdev is of the opinion that India should be in an 'attack' mode against Pakistan if it wants to protect itself. The yoga guru's comment came in the wake of reports linking the recent terror attack at Pathankot air base with certain Pakistan based elements.

"India is a powerful nation, it should be in 'attack' mode in context to Pakistan, that's when we will be able to protect ourselves," Ramdev said.

Saying that giving evidence to Pakistan after every terror attack is cowardice, he asserted that India should teach a lesson to its western neighour. He also wondered why India cannot destroy the terror camps in Pakistan.

A group of six terrorists stormed the Air Force base at Pathankot in Punjab on January 2. All the six terrorists and seven security personnel were killed in the pursuing gun battle. Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad is suspected to be the mastermind of the attack.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured strong and prompt action against the guilty in the attack.
