India has strongly condemned the twin terror attacks in Afghan capital, Kabul, on Wednesday, which resulted in death of more than a dozen people.
“We convey our heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Afghanistan for the loss of lives and property. It is our sincere hope that the injured will make early recovery,” Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said in Delhi.
Taliban had claimed responsibility for the suicide attack that targeted police and intelligence facilities.
“India has been a victim of terrorist violence and understands the pain and suffering of the people of Afghanistan. We reiterate our resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring perpetrators of terrorist violence to the justice they deserve wherever they may be,” MEA added.
