The Ayodhya-Babri Masjid issue is all set to take a new turn, with the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha planning to file a case against Bharatiya Janata Party veteran L.K. Advani and other party leaders for demolishing the 'Ram Lalla'.

According to media reports, the Hindu outfit is also planning to sue senior BJP leaders Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti. Both of them were present in Ayodhya during the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992.

A leader of the outfit said there was an idol of Lord Ram under the dome and accused the party leaders of demolishing the temple.

A Times Of India report quoted Swami Chakrapani, national president of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, as saying, "It was widely accepted that the area under the dome was blessed by Ram Lalla. Yet, BJP leaders incited the mob to break the structure down. The part of the mosque where Muslims used to offer namaaz was not under the dome. But they broke down the entire structure. This would mean that they have broken both a temple and a mosque. They need to be punished for this. They have been claiming to represent the interests of Hindus, but they razed a temple to the ground."

He further said pseudo-nationalist BJP leaders like Advani are enemies of both Hindus and Muslims.

Chakrapani also targeted the Vishwa Hindu Parishad saying it is following a policy of confrontation while leaving no room for discussion. There can be no Ram Temple without including the Muslim brothers in the conversation, he said as per the report.
