A 22-year-old woman was gang-raped in a moving car by three men in Haryana's Faridabad, said police on Sunday. This is the third such incident reported from the state in less than a week.
"A 22-year-old girl was kidnapped in a car and was raped by three unknown men...injury marks also found on her head and body," said Rajesh Chechi, ACP of Crime Branch, Faridabad, reports ANI.
According to media reports, the victim was abducted by the accused on Saturday evening when she was returning home after work. They raped the girl for two hours in the moving car and later dropped her near a petrol pump in Sikri.
On Sunday, a 15-year-old girl's body with mutilated private parts was found in Haryana's Jind district. According to media reports, a doctor in Rohtak’s Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, who examined her body said an object was inserted into her body, damaging her liver.
In another case, a semi-naked body of an 11-year-old girl was found at a deserted place on the outskirts of Urlana Kalan village of Panipat district of the state on Sunday morning. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
