In a bid to make people aware about the functioning of the Border Security Force (BSF), the Gujarat government, in association with the BSF, is all set to launch “sarhad darshan” (visit to border) programme. Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani will open the novel programme on December 24 at 'Nadabet' in Sui village of Banaskantha district, which shares the border with Pakistan.

On the occasion of opening of the border viewing centre, family members of martyrs will be felicitated.

People will be able to visit Nadabet on Saturdays and Sundays. They will get to see 'Beating the Retreat' by the BSF, fusion band and camel show. They would also be able to bird watch.

Tourism minister Ganpat Vasava said on December 20 that people would also get to witness the challenges faced by the BSF.

A dome has been set up at 'Nadabet', 20 kilometer from Sui village, where the visitors would be able to view photo gallery, exhibition of arms and watch a film on the BSF.
