The dashboard intends to interactively present data and analysis of the recently concluded elections to the assemblies of Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand

With just the click of the mouse or flourish of keyboard, anyone can access the state and constituency-wise analysis in terms of participation of voters, candidates and political parties from the Election Commission of India's website.

The website (www.eci.nic.in), for the first time, has some interactive dashboards, comprising both data and analysis.

According to the EC, the dashboard intends to interactively present data and analysis of the recently concluded election to the assemblies of Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It can also help viewers compare these with the results of the 2012 polls.

Users will also get analysis on seats won by political parties, percentage of vote share, details of candidates—including age and social category.

Constituencies with more female electors, constituencies by slabs of voter turnout, constituencies by poll day turnout, gender wise participants, winners and major competitions can also be easily seen by anyone.

Though people can download date, cross tab, PDF and images, the EC has suggested that given it is a trial attempt, people could verify inferences.
